Leathal Luau Dinner Theater

The Luau was lethal and Chase Diamond was the victim. But who was the murderer? That was for the audience to decide.
The play starts off with the suspects being led by a police detective onto the stage ( a hawaian beach scene with tiki hut and beach chairs, off to the side is a body in a body bag) .  The motley crew is made up of the Geeky Tourist (Les Baggs), Lelanie the Hula Dancer, Nadia Seymore the Model, Mrs. Holly Day the millionaire wife, Byrdie Putt golfer extrodinaire, Ripp tide scuba diver, Joey "Bo-Jo" Breakers Surfer, and Chief Wiki Wiki the Chief of the Polynesian tribe and manager of their Heritage Museum. Each character shares secrets about the other charters in an effort to point the finger away from them. In the end the audience had to decide. On Friday night Lelanie played by Casey Barnett was the murderer. Knowing that she was mad at Chase for blackmailing her father, and that she killed her fiancee Kona by throwing him off a cliff. The audience on Satuday night decided to convict Holly Day played by Shirley Hale of murdering Chase. She was seen mixing the drink that killed Chase. She was being blackmailed by Chase because he found out that her husband had died 4 months earlier and she kept it a secret so his company would continue to give money to her. Although not convicted great performances were also givin by Charlotte Chandler (Nadia),Louise Lay (Byrdie Putt), Shawn Steggles (Ripp Tide), Dave Sturgill (Joey "Bo-Jo" Breakers, Calvin Welch (Chief Wiki Wiki) and James Willams (Les Baggs).
The dinner for the Luau was fish or teriyaki chicken, with potatoes, Pineapple and Kiwi, there was shrimp for an appitizer, and strawberry kiwi shortcake for desert. Very Delicious! Thank you Althea and Mary who cooked the meal on Saturday and Jason and his staff who cooked on Friday.
It was a very enjoyable night! The ambiance was set by the twilit mood and the musical stylings of Jan Gates.
