Stayin' Alive - Review of the Evening!

WOW!!  What a fun time we had!  Elegant, candle-lit tables were a welcoming sight to all the attendees.  Thanks to Ethelyn Barnett and Terry Martin for coming through with the table cloths at the last minute.  That definitly offered that extra touch of class to everyone's first impression.

The actors were all staying in character and signing autographs throughout dinner.  Who wouldn't want to spend a few minutes speaking with the fabulous Lyza M or a disco Dance champion like John Revolting?  I, Bruce Leap, signed my share of autographs too, cause I Movie Star.

Everyone was all smiles as they conversed with friends while being serenaded by Terry O'Neill and Keith.  Their tunes set the mood for a wonderful and relaxed dining experience.  It's not everyday we are in the presence of such great talent and experience.

The dinner was great complimented all around, with the broccoli salad being a huge hit once again.  Even those of us who don't really like broccoli can admit that the broccoli salad is a winner!  Then, with cheesecake as dessert, how could the meal possibly get any better?

Kudos to the wait staff.  RAC employees who don't usually don the hat of wait staff did a good job at manuevering around the tables to keep everyone's glasses filled and stomachs happy.

As for the performance...Mix murder mystery dinner theater with Saturday Night Live and you'll only have a hint of how much fun everyone had.  The play was hilarious and even when lines were forgotten, the fun-loving cast kept the audience in stitches.  Sadly, Diana Rush was arrested at the end of the performance as the crowd voted that she must be the guilty party.  As the Diva begged for her freedom and pleaded with John Revolting to resue her, our production came to an end.

All participants are looking forward to trying a new play in the future and building on the experience we gained this last Saturday.  Thank you, everyone who attended.
