Thanks to the generosity of RAC patrons, we have just purchased a new stationary bike for our center. It was delivered this afternoon to our craft room, and I took the opportunity to try it out.
This bike is silent. I guess I'm just a throwback from the days when stationary bikes and tredmills made so much noise that you couldn't hear what was being said on the TV. When you turn on the cable in our craft room, you'll be able to hear every word while you exercise.
The bike has a variety of settings that let you choose the level of workout you want. It keeps time and can even tell you your pulse. The seat is large and cushoned with a back rest that actually makes riding a stationary bike comfortable. Go figure.
It's worth trying out if you're in the neighborhood!
