Beat the Heat at the Robertson Activity Center

Come Join the RAC in July. We have activities scheduled daily in are nice Air Conditioned facility.  We are having a new roof put on so it may be a little loud for awhile. The result will be that the weather outside stays outside. Can't wait, too much heat and rain! If its trips you want we have 4 planned this month. First is Lucky Star Casino on July 6th. Bus leaves at 1pm cost is $5. Next is the trip to the OK History Museum on July 13th. Cost is $10:00, bus leaves at 1pm. On July 20th Big Rob will be taking a group to the Myriad Botanical Gardens. Cost is $10.00 and the bus leaves at 1pm. The last trip will be to The National Weather Service in Norman this is a guided tour of the facility. The bus leaves at 10:30am, the cost is $5.00 but make sure to bring money for lunch at the Flying Cow. Don't miss are first ever Chuck Wagon Dinner.  We will be eating beans and cornbread and dancing and having dessert cooked on a dutch oven. Come join us for this little taste of history around the pond at the Rac on Friday, July 22nd at 7pm. Finally what is July without a 4th celebration. Make sure you come out and clebrate with the staff from the Rac at the 4th of July Celebration at Chisholm Trail Park on July 3rd & 4th. Activity are planned all day from 10am -10pm with a fireworks display both nights to close the celebration. Can't wait to see you all at the RAC this month.
